Storical notes:
The Family of Santantoniari was formed on the 5th May 1968 with the notary act of Marchetti of Gubbio Rep. 39496/8520 by Flaminio Farneti, Luigi Balducci, Pietrangelo Farneti, Giorgio Gini, Wladimiro Ghini, Giovanni Agostini, Alfio Capannelli and others.
The Association was officially recognized as being a "Moral institution" by the President of the Italian Republic.
Nel 1997 si è proceduto all'approvazione di un nuovo statuto.
Aims:
Uniting all those people who love the Cero of St. Antonio;
Increasing the fraternity among the santantoniari;
Making known the traditions;
Working with other associations;
Collecting and keeping storical information;
Honouring the old ceraioli;
Encouraging the spirit of solidarity;
Improving the relationships with the youth;

Exhibitions:
17th January: Festa of St. Antonio Abate, at the Chiesa dei Neri; Investiture of the Capodieci; Benediction and inscription, in the Family book, of the small ceraioli of Santantonio who were born during the previous year;Dinner of ceraioli.
Last Saturday of carnival: "Vejone" (important big meeting and dancing party of the ceraioli and their families).
The week preceding the 15th May: The meeting of old and young ceraiola, The rising of the banners.
Active participation to all the moments of the Festa of the Ceri and St.Ubaldo.
Initiatives in program:
Obtaining and restructuring the seat and the Taverna;
Modification of the statute, according to the indications of the Minister of internal affairs;
The publication of a "Foglio di Famiglia" (Family newspaper), every two months, which will be sent to all the members;
Capodieci of the cero of St. Antonio, from 1926:
