History:
   La Famiglia dei Santantoniari di Jessup è stata legalmente costituita come associazione no profit il 6 settembre 2008, ma la "Famiglia" affonda le sue radici ai tempi dell'inizio del St. Ubaldo Day.
La famiglia di Sant'Antonio (o Famiglia di Sant 'Antonio in italiano) è una Associazione No Profit istituita ai sensi della sezione 501 (c) 3 del Codice di Internal Revenue dello Stato della Pennsylvania. La famiglia ha lo scopo di condurre gli affari e le celebrazioni concernenti l'annuale Festa di San Ubaldo e le altre funzioni che il gruppo e i suoi membri possono svolgere in comcomitanza della celebrazione del San Ubaldo Day, che si terrà a Jessup, Pennsylvania.
E 'l'unico organismo autorizzato a svolgere attività e l'organizzazione di eventi per Sant' Antonio, sotto l'autorità della Società di S. Ubaldo, che disciplina la Festa.
     The family of of Saint Anthony of Jessup was legally constituted as a non-profit association on 6 September 2008, but the "family" has its roots in the days to the start of the St. Ubaldo Day.
The Family of Saint Anthony (or Famiglia di Sant' Antonio in Italian) is a Nonprofit Corporation established under Section 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code of the State of Pennsylvania. The Family is dedicated to conducting business and celebrations concerning the annual Saint Ubaldo Festival and other functions the group and its members may perform in the continuing celebration of Saint Ubaldo Day, which is held in Jessup, Pennsylvania.
It is the only authorized body to conduct business and organize events for Sant' Antonio under the authority of the St. Ubaldo Society which governs the Festival.

Aims:
La Famiglia riunisce i Ceraioli e i simpatizzanti del Cero di S. Antonio residenti a Jessup e dintorni. I membri si impegnano a rispettare e promuovere la tradizione e la storia del loro Cero e a partecipare all'annuale "Corsa dei Ceri" in Jessup.
   Un ulteriore scopo della Famiglia è quello di collaborare anche finanziariamente con la Saint Ubaldo Society nell'acquisizione e nella gestione della Cappella di S. Ubaldo in Jessup.
  The Family is dedicated to conducting business and celebrations concerning the annual Saint Ubaldo Festival and other functions the group and its
members may perform in the continuing celebration of Saint Ubaldo Day, which is held in Jessup, Pennsylvania.
Another purpose of the Family is to collaborate financially with the Saint Ubaldo Society in the acquisition and management of the St. Ubaldo Cultural Center in Jessup.

January 17, 2010 - Festa of Saint Anthony the Abbot.

    A mass dedicated to the deceased and living ceraioli of Saint Anthony will be held at 11 AM at St. James Church, 605 Church St., Jessup, followed by a procession to the Home of St. Anthony at Pietro's Restaurant at 819 Church St. Reception starts at 12:30 PM, Full buffet lunch starts at 1:00 PM including chicken piccata and assorted pastas like cappelletti, gnocchi, risotto, and fetuccini alfredo, and assorted homemade Gubbio style desserts. Entertainment will also be present. Tickets are $20 for adults. Children under 10 are $10. For tickets contact Al Anelli at 570-815-7217 or email "info@saintanthonyfamily.org"

la Famiglia dei Santantoniari ha reso pubblico il Programma delle celebrazioni in onore di S.Antonio Abate: a partire dalla mattina nella chiesa di S. Secondo per poi proseguire:
- alle ore 17.30 alla chiesa dei Neri con la benedizione dei piccoli santantoniari nati nel 2009, poi a seguire:

solenne Messa celebrata dal Vescovo Mario Ceccobelli

-
investitura del Capodieci 2010 Piergiovanni Gaggi.
Infine la serata ci concluderà con il

- consueto
banchetto sotto gli Arconi.
 
    January 7, 2010 St. Ubaldo Society Meeting at the St. Ubaldo Cultural Center at 8 P.M. Due to the tie in votes for the Secratary position, a new vote for that position only will be held immediately after the meeting. Swearing in of Officers for 2010 is also scheduled to take place.

May 23, 2010 Jessup Wine Tasting Committee will hold their 13th annual wine tasting event at Station Park, Jessup, PA from 1-4 P.M.

May 24, 2010 5-8 P.M. Porketta Sandwich Sale at the Saint Ubaldo Society Cultural Center. 7 P.M. Veneration of the Most Holy Relic of Saint Ubaldo at the Saint Ubaldo Society Cultural Center.

May 25, 2010 Saint George Family Social at St. George's Restaurant (details TBD).

May 26, 2010 Practice mandatory for any new runners or for runners wishing to improve their switches. Usually at the field at 4 P.M., but depends on the weather. Details TBD. A Saint Ubaldo Society Social at the Jessup VFW (details TBD) will be held afterwards..

May 27, 2010 St. Ubaldo Society Social Event (Details TBD)

May 28, 2010 6 P.M. Saint Ubaldo Day Officials along with participants from the Families of St. Ubaldo, St. George and St. Anthony will meet at Grassy Island Avenue and Mylert Street. Please do not wear your full Race-day uniform (short sleeves and fazzoleto's are fine, but please no sashes). Dinner afterwards (Details TBD)

May 29, 2010 Cemetery Vigil, Morning Mass, the Alzata, Ceraioli Society Lunch (Tavola Buona), Pre-Race Team forming (and last minute practice) near Pietro's at 3 P.M., the Saint Anthony Family photo, the Race of the Saints 5:30 P.M., Candlelight Procession to St. James, Post Race Celebration (Details TBD)
